Jack Dylan

Jack Dylan says on his site that he "approaches his work in much the way an art director does, imagining first the best solution and then working in that style." This analytic technique is abundantly clear in his portfolio - in much of his recent work, a minimalist and often restricted approach to form and color is wonderfully complimented by the addition of fine details and contrasting accents, while in many of his other pieces, a more playful tone is achieved through elaborate, dense line-work and subtle abstraction. However, no matter what style he chooses to guide him for each piece, his characters are always full of personality and his scenes wonderfully composed. Go take a gander at his website to see just a small sample of his awesomely amazing 10+ year career.
